The Long Island Orchid Society Orchid Festival at Planting Fields Arboretum features a beautiful exhibit of paintings for sale by the Art League of Nassau County and Suburban Art League. We have orchid vendors from our local area as well as vendors coming from Ecuador, Peru and Columbia bringing an amazing variety of orchids you will never see in a store. Our expert growers from the LIOS will also be giving talks on growing orchids, so you can keep your new orchids blooming happily year after year! 
The Reboli Center for Art & History had a wonderful outdoor painting event on May 16th and I painted this 9" x 12" watercolor while looking over the peaceful marsh and harbor in Stony Brook. The exhibit will be on view from June 2nd to July 12th, and the Reception will be on Saturday, June 6th from 2 to 4pm.
Works are for sale by many talented Long Island artists!
